Quality Mechanical is currently looking for a HVAC Technician
Quality Mechanical is currently looking for a full-time Commercial/Industrial HVAC/R Technician for a PERMANENT POSITION IN AMARILLO TEXAS AND SURROUNDING AREAS. This is a fast-paced job, we have preventive maintenance and service contracts with many of our clients, so the work is year-round. We are also offering a $7500.00 SIGN-ON BONUS.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot, service, and repair commercial and industrial HVAC/R equipment.
- Perform commercial HVAC/refrigeration preventive maintenance in a timely manner as assigned.
- Maintain clean and safe conditions on job sites and in work vehicle.
- Participate in Company’s “on call” after hours emergency call program.
- Complete parts/material inventories as assigned.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Possesses a valid driver's license with an approved driving record.
- Technician must provide own hand tools.
- Minimum of five years of experience in Commercial/Industrial HVAC/R service and repair.
- E.P.A. certified for refrigerant handling class I & II, or Universal is required.
- Successful completion of pre-employment background/drug testing, reference check and driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
- In-depth working knowledge & skills of refrigeration equipment, split systems, package units, electrical, HVAC & EMS systems.
- Troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multi-task, work with limited supervision & make accurate decisions quickly.
- High standard of time management, integrity, & reliability.
